Power Differences and Safety in the EFT Therapy Room

Presenter: James L. Hawkins II, PhD., LPC, Clinical Coordinator at the Joshua Center

Friday, June 18, 2021
10 am - 4 pm (PDT) Online  - $175

In EFT we are all about creating safety for our clients. Yet recent events have brought front and center how as therapists we often leave out the impact of power differentials in the therapy room - between ourselves and our client and between partners, and how these differences carry a different weight depending on what position you are in. This one day workshop with podcaster and EFT supervisor James Hawkins, PhD is an opportunity to expand your ability to acknowledge and incorporate these differences into your practice. This is a big and complex topic - one day is just a beginning and we will assess as a group where we go from here at the end of the day.

Target audience: Target audience is EFT therapists of all experience levels who would like to expand their competency with addressing power differentials.

Pre-requisite: ICEEFT EFT Externship
